Stainless Steel Trench Drains

Sanitary processing plants require daily (and sometimes more frequent) wash down of processing equipment. Stainless steel trench drains are a necessity to channel away unwanted surface water from processing facility floors.
Commonly produced from 12 gauge (nominal 0.105” thick), mill finish type 304 stainless steel, our drains are custom engineered for your specific application.
Typical designs include a more open top trench drain that receives your choice of Fibergrate®, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, or grating as shown in Detail A. Detail B shows an alternate slot drain design that leaves only a 1” opening after installation.
We also manufacture many drain accessories and components, such as spot/area drains, collection boxes, strainer boxes, and floor sinks. Outlets from drains and accessories are typically schedule 40 stainless steel pipes that are sized to your specific requirements.
Our standard drain slope is 1/8” per foot of drain, but our in-house design team will engineer drains to your application to meet site conditions when floor thickness or other conditions require a more minimal slope.
